The 'Tophit®' variety is a modern German cross between 'Čačanská najbolja' and 'President'. It ranks among the licensed varieties that currently dominate the European market due to its exceptional commercial value.

Massive Fruits and High Sugar Content

Tophit is famous for its size—individual fruits can reach a weight of up to 75 grams. The flesh is yellow-green, firm, and very juicy, with an excellent harmonious sweet taste. Due to its high sugar content, this variety is highly valued not only for fresh consumption but also for producing high-quality distillates.

  • Ripening: Matures very late, usually at the end of September.
  • Self-fertility: It is fully self-fertile, ensuring yield stability even without the presence of other varieties.

From Romania, from the Piteşti – Mărăcineni institute, comes the 'Silvia' variety. It is a cross of 'Renclod Althan' and 'Early Rivers', registered in 1979.

Excellent Table Variety

Silvia is a favorite for those who love crunchy fruit. Its white-yellowish flesh is exceptionally firm and juicy. It ripens in the first decade of August (Aug 1st – 10th), perfectly filling the mid-summer period.

  • Appearance: Fruits are large (55 g), elliptical (oval), violet-blue in color with a thick layer of grey-blue bloom.
  • Pollination: It is partially self-fertile and serves as an excellent pollinator for other varieties in the orchard.
  • Resilience: Resistant to red leaf spot, showing medium sensitivity to monilia and Sharka.
