The Sladkij (Сладкий) variety, which translates as “sweet,” is more descriptive in nature and probably originates from Ukraine or Russia. It stands out mainly for its distinctly sweet taste with minimal acidity.

It grows moderately strong, in the form of a compact bush or small tree. It is cross-pollinated – for a good harvest, it is necessary to grow it together with other flowering varieties.

The fruits are medium-sized, red, and very sweet. Thanks to their high sugar content and low acidity, they are ideal for direct consumption.

It ripens during August, making it a mid-season variety.

The plant is fully frost-resistant and disease-resistant, making it suitable for novice growers and various climatic conditions.
