This variety, originally from Germany and also known as Albrechtskirsche, was named after its breeder. It is characterized by strong, upright growth and can reach a height of up to 5 meters in favorable conditions.

It is self-incompatible, so it needs to be grown in combination with other varieties to ensure a good harvest.

The fruits are large, oval, and dark red in color. Their taste is distinctly sour, which makes them ideal for processing—especially for making jams, syrups, liqueurs, or compotes, where a higher acid content is welcome and desirable.

It ripens late, usually during September.

The variety is fully frost-resistant and resistant to common diseases, making it a reliable choice even in less favorable growing areas.
