Late Romanian variety with large fruits and crunchy flesh.
'Dâmbovița' is a high-quality Romanian plum variety bred at the Pitești - Mărăcineni institute. It was created by crossing the classic varieties 'Tuleu Gras' and 'Anna Späth'. It is sought after for its large, attractive fruits with crunchy flesh, suitable for both fresh consumption and drying.
