Late Romanian variety "Flame" with huge and firm fruits.
'Flacăra' (translated as "Flame") is an older but high-quality Romanian peach variety bred at the SCDP Băneasa station. It is valued primarily for its exceptionally large fruits, which ripen at the end of the season. It is ideal for growers looking for a late variety with large, attractive, and tasty fruits.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Huge fruits (240 – 260 g).
- Stone separates easily from the flesh.
- Firm flesh, fruits handle well.
- Very good aromatic taste.
- Late ripening (late summer).
