Raspberry POLANA is an excellent remontant variety of raspberry with an excellent taste, which is suitable for home growers, but also for commercial cultivation.
The plant has healthy shoots , up to 150cm high. It grows vigorously, uniformly. It has fine thorns. The main harvest is on annual shoots.
It produces from August until frost, so it is very appreciated by growers.
Fruits are large 5g cone-shaped, tasty, red, shiny and firm. They have an excellent sweet taste and are easy to pick. They are also suitable for machine harvesting.
Raspberries POLANA are suitable for direct consumption but also for processing, jam making or freezing. They do not rot. They are well transported.
It prefers a sunny location, the soil should be slightly moist and permeable.
Raspberries should be planted close to a support so that they can be harvested well.
We also recommend making a root barrier so it doesn't grow too much where you don't want it.
This variety of raspberry is hardy, and not susceptible to disease. It is lower to shoot dieback.
It is therefore suitable for growing without chemical protection.
