Family Apple Tree (4 in 1): Agra + Tīna + Rubīns + Ligol

A perfect multi-grafted tree providing fantastic apples starting from August. Four exceptional varieties, each bringing unique flavor and long storability to your cellar.

1. Apple 'Agra' (Very Early Summer Variety)

An excellent Latvian variety that opens the season even before the well-known White Transparent. It features a beautiful red blush and a sweet-sour taste.

The 'Agra' variety (registered in 2002) is a wonderful starter on this tree. Developed by crossing ‘Quinte’, ‘Suislepp’, and ‘Bumbierābele’. Unlike other very early varieties, its fruits boast beautiful red striping and surprisingly good storability for a summer apple.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Early harvest: Ripens very early, ahead of classic summer apples.
  • Organic growing: Good resistance to scab and fruit rot, ideal for chemical-free cultivation.
  • Beautiful look: Yellow fruits are almost completely covered with a bright red striped blush.
Fruit and Harvest
  • Flavor: Creamy-yellow, medium-firm, and juicy flesh with a very good sweet-sour taste.
  • Harvest Time: Very early in summer (turn of July and August).
  • Storability: Quite good for a summer variety (up to 2 weeks). Tip: Moderate fruit thinning is recommended for the best quality.

2. Apple 'Tīna' (Autumn Variety)

An Estonian beauty for sweet apple lovers. An excellent dessert variety whose flesh is almost entirely free of acids.

In late September, the Estonian variety 'Tīna' joins in. It stands out with its smaller growth habit, early onset of heavy bearing, and above all, its amazing, purely sweet flesh without acids. It is a fantastic dessert variety with excellent frost hardiness and longer storability.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Distinctly sweet flavor: White, juicy flesh with almost no acidity.
  • High productivity: A heavy and regular bearer (a cross of 'Sügisjoonik' × 'Liivi kuldrenett').
  • Excellent frost hardiness: Highly adaptable and resistant to cold.
Fruit and Harvest
  • Appearance: Medium to large round fruits. Yellow base color with raspberry-red stripes on the sunny side.
  • Harvest Time: Late September.
  • Storability: Good; keeps in the cellar until December/January. Ready to eat from October.

3. Apple 'Rubin' (Kazakh) (Early Winter Variety)

The Kazakh ruby with huge, bright red fruits that combines frost hardiness with excellent storability.

The 'Rubin' (Kazakh) variety is exceptionally popular in commercial orchards in the Baltics. It produces visually stunning, gigantic apples (up to 240 g), whose flavor profile fully develops during winter storage. It excels in extreme productivity and drought tolerance.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Huge, beautiful fruits: Bright red with white dots and high dessert quality (4.5 out of 5 points).
  • Extreme productivity: Very early onset of bearing with stable yields (up to 45 t/ha).
  • Resistance: Excellent frost hardiness and drought tolerance.
Fruit and Harvest
  • Appearance: Large to very large round-conical fruits (185 g) with a bright carmine blush.
  • Harvest Time: At the turn of September and October.
  • Storability: Under optimal conditions, the apples can be stored until March/April.
  • Pruning: The tree requires thinning cuts rather than regular heading back of one-year-old shoots.

4. Apple 'Ligol' (Long-storing Winter Variety)

Poland's top commercial producer! Giant apples with crunchy, sweet-sour flesh that last in the cellar until May.

The family tree is crowned by the Polish commercial legend 'Ligol'. A cross of 'Linda' x 'Golden Delicious', it provides apples of gigantic proportions that do not shrivel and remain firm and juicy even after months in storage. It is the perfect winter vitamin supply for your family.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Extremely long storability: Apples do not shrivel and maintain their quality in storage until May.
  • Giant fruits: Visually attractive, large to very large apples with a carmine blush.
  • Gourmet quality: Juicy, crunchy, and firm flesh with a refreshing sweet-sour taste.
  • Pollination: An excellent pollinator for other varieties, and it greatly benefits from the presence of the other varieties on this tree.
Fruit and Harvest
  • Appearance and Flavor: Greenish-yellow base color with an intense carmine-red blush.
  • Harvest Time: In the first decade of October.
  • Cultivation Tip: To maintain regular crops and prevent biennial bearing, this variety requires stricter fruit thinning and calcium applications to prevent bitter pit.
