1. Apple 'Bumbierābele' (Summer Variety)

Tallinn Pear Apple – an ancient 18th-century Estonian variety featuring a distinct and sweet pear-like flavor.

The season on this tree is opened by 'Bumbierābele' (historically known as Tallinna pirnõun). It is one of the oldest recorded northern varieties, highly prized for its exceptional flavor and used for centuries in breeding programs. It offers a unique, pear-like taste.

At the turn of August and September, the Latvian seedling 'Rīgas Rožābele' (1940) ripens. It is characterized by low vigor, making it a perfect fit for a family tree, and good resistance to scab.

The family tree is completed by the old Latvian folk variety 'Mālābele' (often known as Serinka). It acts as a true taste treasure. Its fruits have a characteristic "clay-pink" coloration. While not a modern "beauty" visually, its rich flavor is legendary among old varieties.
