Grapevine (Vitis vinifera) 'Kodrianka' ('Black Magic')

Very early Moldovan variety with large dark purple fruits and excellent taste.

'Kodrianka' (commercially also known as 'Black Magic') is an extremely popular and very early table grape variety. It stands out with large, attractive dark purple berries and firm flesh with thin skin. It is valued for quickly reaching consumption maturity and increased disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and smaller commercial growers.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Very early ripening (110 – 118 days).
  • Rapid onset of consumption maturity (tasty even at lower sugar levels).
  • Large clusters (up to 1.5 kg) and large berries.
  • Increased resistance to fungal diseases.
  • Good hang time of ripe grapes on the vine without loss of quality.
