'Prunele de aur' (translated as "Golden Plum") is an indigenous Romanian plum variety that originated as a chance seedling. It is sought after for its attractive deep yellow fruits with firm flesh and a very aromatic, sweet taste. Thanks to its properties, it is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
