'Ance' is an attractive new Latvian plum variety that yields its harvest as early as the beginning of August. Its greatest advantage is its delicious, sweet taste with a distinct honey undertone, which the fruits develop at full maturity. The plums are medium-sized, a beautiful amber-yellow color, and the flesh separates well from the stone. The tree is characterized by strong, healthy growth and good disease resistance, making it a rewarding and low-maintenance variety for any garden.

Tree

Growth is strong, forming a healthy, spreading crown. It yields regularly and abundantly. The variety is cross-pollinated; to ensure a rich harvest, it needs another plum variety blooming at the same time nearby.

Fruit

• Size and shape: Medium (30–45 g), elliptical in shape.
• Skin: A beautiful amber-yellow color at maturity with a light pinkish blush.
• Flesh: Yellow, medium-firm, and juicy. The stone is freestone to semi-freestone.
• Taste: Very good, sweet, with a honey-like flavor at full ripeness.
