'Ermioni' is an ancient Greek pomegranate variety, cultivated in the Ermionida region of the Peloponnese for thousands of years. It is renowned for its excellent sweet taste and especially for its soft seeds, which are easy to chew. Due to its uniqueness, it has been granted Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status by the European Union.
